REFLECTIONS

REFLECTIONS

My senior thesis project was an overall rewarding experience. I was given the freedom to explore Energy Information Systems, a topic that I find very relevant and that I would not have otherwise been exposed to. I also found great value in developing my own scope of work through the proposal in the fall semester, and sticking to it during the spring. More importantly than any technical things I learned, I enjoyed studying how to concisely and effectively communicate my work through the final presentation and report.

In my 4 years in the AE program, I have gained a lot of valuable technical knowledge, learned to form a cohesive, productive team, advanced my ability to communicate effectively, and met a lot of really cool people along the way. I am grateful for all of the help the AE department has provided over the years, through both instruction and administrative tasks and am excited to apply all I have learned in the industry.
